CAYMANAS GOLF CLUB, JAMAICA
Rain, Smiles, and Good Times: Alicia & Arklon at Caymanas

Most couples worry when they see clouds on their wedding day, but Alicia and Arklon just rolled with it. Their day at Caymanas Golf Club was a perfect reminder that the best weddings happen when you stop worrying about the "plan" and just focus on the people you're with.
Capturing the Real Stuff
Right in the middle of their ceremony, the rain started to fall. Instead of a frantic reset, they just grabbed some umbrellas and kept on laughing. Those are the moments I love to capture—the unscripted, beautiful stuff that actually feels like you. Watching them exchange rings while the rain came down wasn't a photoshoot; it was a real, beautiful memory.
All In, Rain or Shine

What struck me most wasn't just the couple’s reaction, but the energy of their guests. While some headed for cover, a few of their closest friends decided to stay right where they were. They remained seated in the downpour, completely drenched, choosing to witness the ceremony without moving. Seeing that level of support—friends who are literally "all in" regardless of the weather—is exactly the kind of context I look for. It shows how much this union meant to everyone there.
Documenting the Energy
The rain changed our plans for portraits, but it didn't change the mood. We stayed flexible and kept moving, focused on documenting the joy rather than chasing "perfect" conditions. By the time the reception hit, the rain was just background noise to a great party. It was a day that proved you don't need perfect weather to have a perfect celebration.
